Born in Bærum right outside of Oslo in 1967. Since childhood Johan has spent every possible minute exploring nature, and his passion for the elements has inspired him to become a photographer. Both abroad and in Norway he is always searching for the ultimate image and in the end wanting to give the observer a feeling of being part of the picture.

Johan has been awarded best photographer of the year by Norwegian art directors, and has volunteered in photographic projects to save the rainforest
